Its very fascinating how one disease can initiate an another and through my thesis I researched more from a dentistry point of view of how this disease can affect the oral cavity. Its very crucial to have a normal level of cytokines for continuous process of synthesis and destruction. I have mentioned some experiments showing the consequence of imbalanced cytokines. Since osteoporosis is a silent disease so I also investigated the latest technologies for early diagnosis so we can prevent the new fractures in vulnerable patients. I also summarized the preoperative protocols before any surgery and management of these patients on the dental chair. These patients demand caution and has to be discussed with the physician.
