Health Impact Assessment is an important tool for a healthy public policy by showing the direct and indirect effects of the decisions taken on community health. It recommends evaluating the impact of all decisions taken, regardless of which sector they are related to, on health and quality of life. It is also an effective technique for addressing inequalities on a global scale and is a necessity for addressing the unequal burdens placed on the less fortunate in our communities. It is self-evident that developing Healthy Public Policy will need persistent, strong political backing at all levels of government. To give this support, it is required to assess and improve the physical, social, and economic environments of society, as well as the deficiencies of medical health services.hu_HU
