The aim of the thesis is to present arbitration as an alternative dispute resolution forum by highlighting the background regulations, both at national and international level, and by presenting the role of arbitration alongside the proceedings of state courts. On the other hand, to present the regulations and case law related to the invalidation and enforcement of arbitration awards.
