The efforts used by various nations to contain the virus initially resulted in restrictions on peopl'es freedom of movement, but they gradually became more stringent until complete lockdown of entire regions and nations.Overall it obstructed the movement of the people,governments private sectors etc, the effect of restrictive measures on exporters has been real, particularly among those who trade via sea, however the effect on these sea trading companies remains speculative and the true extent is under-investigation, to fullfil this knowledge gap, i conduct an exploratory study on the effect of the covid-19 pandemic on sea trading companies.
