dc.description.abstractDrug abuse is a growing problem among adolescents and prevention should be a priority in all homes, schools and communities. As discussed in this study, the family, school and communities are all involve in the risk and protective factors, and are also directly or indirectly involve in the consequences, which present it as a great target for prevention. The involvement of family, school and community programs has shown a significant reduction in drug use. Due to the increase rate of drug use among adolescents, more resources should be allocated to support these programs to enhance their effects in other to improve the health of adolescents involved in drug use and other drug related problems.In addition, Public Health professionals could also play a role in the establishment of continuous running programs to educate adolescents about the dangers and consequences of drug abuse.hu_HU
