International financial reporting standards (IFRS) issues a common set of rules which must be followed for the proper accounting treatment of items recorded in their consolidated balance sheet by the entity. I have chosen 3 standards to evaluate in relation to Inditex consolidated reports (IAS 2, IAS 16 and IAS 40) so that I can examine how these standards are recorded in the company’s financial statements.
