This thesis is a literature review, and focuses on the neuroradiological findings in patients with Internet Gaming Disorder. These findings were reported using fMRI. fMRI investigations on reward processing systems, impulsivity, aggression, empathy, and the urge to game were reviewed. The thesis also briefly mentions the psychological consequences of excessive gaming.
