Autoimmunity, immune dysregulations and their role in encephalitides
Absztrakt
The aim of this thesis is to review our current understanding of noninfectious immune system responses that may lead to brain damage and neurological deficits. Simultaneously, it might prove useful for those who read it, to realize how insidious these diseases are, and help focus physicians’ attention to find explanations for often misdiagnosed, disguised and misleading clinical signs and symptoms which result from a lurking neuro-inflammatory condition.
