dc.description.abstractThis study is an attempt to determine land conflicts farmers between herders in Selenge province, Mongolia. The increase in the livestock has led to in dramatic consequences in Mongolia, lack of pasture land, including farmers and herders’ disputes over land and natural resources. The purpose of this study is to determine the extent to which the Law of Crop production has been implements to reduce conflicts between herders and farmers since Selenge province was made an agricultural region. The questionary survey was conducted in February, 2023, by online use Google forms in farmers Selenge province, Mongolia. To determine the reason of land conflict between farmers and herders, to determine the reason of land conflicts, and to determine the actual results of law enforcement, and finally make suggestion based on survey. Moreover, an overview on the causes and effects of the land conflict in Selenge province is illustrated the driving forces (D), pressures (P), state (S), impact (I), responses (R). The based on results, the causes of conflict in agricultural region of Selenge province are shown, and alternative solutions to reduce the conflict are provided.
