The thesis examines the impact of COVID-19 and the war in Ukraine on GDP growth, inflation, and unemployment across developed and developing countries from 2017 to 2023. Using regression and correlation analysis, it compares macroeconomic responses to global shocks. The results show short-term differences between the two groups. The findings align with existing literature. The work also discusses the role of policy responses and structural differences in the economy on countries' results.
