The Landscape of Charles A. Lindbergh's Life
Absztrakt
In my thesis, I am going to show the process of the investigation around the Lindbergh baby’s kidnapping and its conclusion, as well as illustrate Charles A. Lindbergh's political image during WWII. This thesis will also be reflecting on the way his popularity changed in the American press from positive to negative, and most importantly, I will be arguing against the conception that he was a Nazi sympathizer. I am going to demonstrate that, in fact, he wanted to protect the United States from further losses, but the press were eager to sabotage his image, regardless of his initiatives.
