In this thesis the we discuss Neurodegenerative diseases, there types and mechanism of action of the most common ones. Focusing on the new aspects in the treatment of Neurodegenerative diseases. Due to the general population getting older, there has been a significant increase in neurodegenerative disease cases which according to the WHO, within 20 years it will become the second most prevalent cause of death. Therefore, researchers are looking for definitive cure for it, since the current treatments are symptomatic only.
