This study looks at the advantages and disadvantages of increased legal engagement with the public as a result of the development of electronic technology. By clarifying the theoretical underpinnings of regulating interactions that come from the digitalization of the economy, it seeks to set the platform for domestic law in this field. The authors come to the conclusion that it is crucial to protect consumer rights at all socioeconomic levels and to add additional safeguards for the most vulnerable consumers.
