This dissertation is focused on the development of business-to-customer e-commerce website (Online Shop) where the aim is to reach out to individual consumers.The website designed is primarily for displaying footwear products; it is not a generic site that displays all kind of products. It is for specific class/users that love buying footwear; hence, the products are categorized into men and women shoes with subcategories, however there is no payment gateway integration in the system. Frameworks and technologies used for developing the application include ASP.NET C#, HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), JavaScript; the following frameworks ASP.NET MVC Framework, Entity Framework, ASP.NET Identity Frameworks and a relatively new syntax called Razor Syntax was used in the views.
