Global climate change is one of the fundamental problems that the world is faced with. Agricultural production is pivotal in ensuring food security, however it is continuously being negatively affected as a result of the variation in global climate. This project assesses the relation between climate variation and the crop yield of potato by correlating climatic variable data and crop yield data of potato with temperature, effective rainfall, relative humidity and a ratio between effective rainfall and crop evapotranspiration during both the vegetation period and a selected period of drought months from year 2003 to 2017 at the Nyíregyháza Westsik crop rotation experiment.hu_HU
