The skill-developing effects and potential implications of storytelling in the Hungarian higher education – initial domestic research results

dc.descriptionIn the Hungarian higher education, innovative pedagogical methods are needed to prepare students for the challenges of employment. Storytelling offers a multi-faceted, learner-centred method. This paper aims to investigate which skills storytelling improves, and whether it can be used in the Hungarian higher education. Three semi-structured interviews were conducted and thematically analysed. Based on these results, two pedagogical experiments were conducted, observed, and analysed. Results include that storytelling can be realized in many ways, and the method can contribute to the improvement of skills which are currently needed in the labour market.en-US
dc.descriptionA magyar felsőoktatásban szükség van olyan innovatív oktatási módszerekre, amelyek felkészítik a hallgatókat a munkavállalásra. A történetmesélés egy sokoldalú, tanulóközpontú módszert kínál. A kutatás azt vizsgálja, hogy a történetmesélés milyen készségeket fejleszt, illetve alkalmazható-e a magyar felsőoktatási gyakorlatban. Három szakértővel készített, félig strukturált interjú tematikus elemzése, illetve ezekre az eredményekre építve két pedagógiai kísérlet megvalósítása, természetes megfigyelése és tartalomelemzése valósult meg. A legfontosabb eredmény, hogy a történetmesélés többféle módon alkalmazható, és hozzájárulhat olyan készségeket fejlesztéséhez, amelyekre a munkaerőpiacon jelenleg szükség van.hu-HU
