As I consider myself a believer and have been attracted by religious teachings and the church, I very often agreed with Watson’s ideas and could not accept other critics which clearly claimed Larkin to be agnostic. I found this debate very interesting and my intention with my thesis is to support Watson’s opinion as he belongs to the minority among critics.
