The theme of my thesis is twofold: I am describing the American and the Hungarian election system, and analyzing the type of advertisements used in political election campaigns in these countries. I had chosen these two countries for analysis for a number of reasons. I have always been interested in how modern democracies work, and being a Hungarian citizen and an American track student logical to analyze and compare these countries. Furthermore, I wanted to understand these political systems better, because in the past few years our democratic systems faced serious problems, and I wanted to share my discoveries as well.hu_HU
