dc.description.abstractI want to choose Website development with PHP as my topic because the website plays a very important role in people’s life now. If you want to talk to your friends online, you probably will use facebook which is a web based application. If you want to read some news, you can either buy a newspaper,which maybe is not very convenient for you on a busy workday, or you can open the browser and google the daily news. Then the website which shows the breaking news will show up. The examples I talked above is just few cases people using website. Nowadays many applications are web based. The web based application provides many functionality for people such like:shopping,reading,watching,listening,trading,communicating.etc. The web based application will still be mainstream for many years in the future and PHP is one of the language that makes website multifunctional. There are server-side scripting language like PHP and ASP.NET.Since PHP is easier to learn and the PHP manual is well written while PHP and ASP.NET both works well according to many experienced website-developers, I would like to choose PHP as my topic. My project is a delivery website which means people can using the web to order the food they liked. The customer will use a login system to login first or do the registration to create an account. After the user login, he/she can make orders. The orders will be shown in the cart page and the customer can continue order until he./she press the check out. Then the user will come to the final check part. Once the pay button is pressed, the order will be sent and the user can check the order history to see what he/she ordered before.hu_HU
