The study examined the impact of human capital development on employee performance in the Nigerian health sector, focusing on the Federal Medical Center, Jabi-FCT Abuja. It assessed the relationship between training and employee performance, the influence of educational development, the impact of work experience, and the link between knowledge level and performance. Data from 323 respondents were analyzed using SPSS for descriptive statistics and frequency distribution. Findings indicate inadequate staff training and educational development at the Federal Medical Center. However, work experience and knowledge level enhance staff proficiency and performance. The study recommends adequate funding for personnel training and educational advancement, ensuring optimal utilization of such resources.
