In the light of the modern medical era, advancements in pharmacological therapies have opened doors in the management of several body disorders, both from a definitive or temporary approaches. Among great human organs, the adrenal glands posses great roles in the body, serving as vital structures from an endocrine perspective, whose disorders contribute to great imbalances in the hormonal homeostasis of the organism. The aim of this thesis is to discuss various common presentations of adrenal functional defects, exploring the particular features of each disease entity, and focusing on the pharmacological handling of the conditions.
