Prevalence of underweight, overweight, obesity and associated factors among adolescents in the philippines

Abstract

Obesity among adolescents has been becoming one of the major public health encounters worldwide. Philippines is amongst one of the countries experiencing ‘nutrition transition’; with co-existing double-burden of malnutrition and non-communicable diseases. There have been long lines of publications pertaining to double burden of diseases related to obesity but fewer studies engrossed focusing about the Philippines alone.
