dc.description.abstract | Existing literature highlights the role of African labour, where SME leadership competence is valued in economic development and job creation. However, SMEs show little improvement in sustainability due to weak links between technology and leadership competencies. This study uses a quantitative research approach. It examines how SME leadership competence development is integrated into Technology. Data was collected from 384 SME leaders across two districts and a municipality in Ghana. SPSS and Smart PLS 4.0 were used for analysis. Findings reveal no positive relationship between leadership behaviour and technological competence. Socio-economic benefit was identified as a determinant of perceived usefulness (PU) and perceived behaviour (PB), influencing the acceptance of technology. The perceived ease of use (PEU) and technology acceptance among SME leaders are primarily driven by personal, methodological and technological competencies over application and access. Hence, policymakers must pay attention to the skill development of employees for organizational sustainability. | |
