In my thesis, I shall investigate how trauma is filtered through language and reflected in spaces, in Sasha Jensen’s thoughts and attitude, using trauma theories of Sigmund Freud, Patricia Moran and Maren Linett, while elaborating on some possible reasons why the novel’s ending may be an inevitable consequence of Sasha’s life.
