Millions of people from less developed countries flee to America year by year trying to find employment to be able to earn a living in the country and somehow reach permanent residence. This process by the end of the twentieth century has reached such a degree that it has become an issue (probably one of the most challenging issues) in the United States of America. The complex problem requires the introduction of comprehensive measures to solve. The immigration reform is about to be implemented, which stands in the focus the thesis. I examine the forming proposal in a theoretical perspective introducing the liberal and conservative point of views and then elaborate on how the reform relates to them.
