There is no universally accepted definition of personality; it is as complex as personality itself. According to the American Psychology Association personality refers to individual differences in characteristic patterns of feeling, thinking, and behaving. There are various types of individuals and so personality types refer to this classification. Several personality types have been created by numerous authors. The five factors of the Big Five Model are openness, conscientiousness, extraversion, agreeableness, and neuroticism. Personality has a substantial role in emotional and physical health, as its various characteristics affect an individual's emotional and cognitive judgments of his/her health-related life quality or well-being; therefore, it has a great impact on health status or health outcomes. Low conscientiousness is linked to negative health behaviors and negative health outcomes.
