Every nation has its own history, its own story of origin. Australia has two: one of them is the birth of Aboriginal Australia and the other is the creation of today's ”White Australia” . Australian Pioneer Women appeared in the second story and played an important role in it. My thesis demonstrates why people in Australia think of their white pioneer women as mothers of a white Australia and why it is important for Australians so much to emphasize these women's role in their history.hu_HU
