Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) and Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) are among the most prevalent diseases worldwide affecting up to 30% and 10% of the world’s population respectively.This review includes a comparison of therapeutic efficacy and risk profile of the pharmacological agents and information on common clinical therapeutic approach to GERD and PUD.
