Japan attaches great importance to environmental protection, and the Japanese automobile manufacturing industry attaches great importance to the development of corporate social responsibility. Japan's corporate social responsibility research started earlier than China's, and its corporate social responsibility system is also more mature than China's. This paper is based on the Industrial Social Responsibility Research Center of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting Guidelines (CASS-CSR4.0) as the standard decomposes into 7 dimensions, there are customers and consumers, suppliers/dealers, investors, employees, Non-Governmental Organizations and Community, government, and environmental responsibility. This paper collected the corporate social responsibility reports of BYD and Toyota from 2018 to 2022, then the performance of the evaluation report of BYD and Toyota.
