dc.description.abstractThis paper highlights the barriers faced by females entrepreneurs in Jordan. Female and male entrepreneurs were interviewed to explore the challenges they face and in order to compare bewteen them. The challenges were then grouped into seven categories were females were asked to rate the intensity of each barrier through a questionnaire. Moreover, each of the barriers was explained and supported by Hoftstede's cultural values and their effect in Jordan. Finally, the barriers were ordered according to their intensity and effect on females. Recommendations were also given on how the situation may change for females especially the it will benefit the Jordanian economy greatly.
