dc.description.abstractThis thesis explores the notion of dreaming, remembering and time, as observed in the movies Inception, Tenet and Total Recall. These themes can be found in all three of these movies, but how they portray them is different. Dreaming, time and memories are connected to each other, and all of them are topics that are hard to grasp. The thesis explores how dreaming and filmmaking and connected. It is also mentioned, how dreaming works and what are some theories about them.
