| dc.description.abstract | Psoriasis is a chronic inflammatory disease that is immune-mediated affecting the skin and joints. There are many different clinical manifestations including erythema, erupting pustules, silvery scaly papules, and plaques. Sometimes these are even associated with malignancy and cardiovascular disease. These signs and symptoms vary from mild to severe which significantly reduces the quality of life of patients. There are many different types of treatments according to the severity which can be, for example, local corticosteroids to systemic antimetabolites, or biological treatment. | hu_HU |
