Epilepsy being the most common and oldest neurological illness has encouraged the development of different types of therapy. Pharmacological therapy being the most used can only help only about 70 percent of patients suffering from epilepsy, Even the side effects of these drugs discourage their use by some patients that is why there has to be an alternative. In the thesis some other forms of therapy were outlined, both those in use and those undergoing clinical trials at the moment. Was also able to talk about the pros and cons of these new forms of therapy and what the future holds.
