COVID-19 is caused by an RNA virus from the coronavirinae subfamily. The initial infection with this virus was recorded in 2019 and has since become a pandemic. SARS-COV-2 has an interesting mechanism of replication, which by understanding, potential targets of drug therapy can be identified.
