This thesis examines the roll of robotic-assisted prostatectomy as it compares to pure-laparoscopy. The functional and perioperative outcomes associated with robot-assisted radical prostatectomy signify a slight advantage over the pure laparoscopic procedure and this technique should be considered in centers that can afford to undertake the financial burden.
