Double Consciousness In Django Unchained: From Spaghetti Western Protagonist To Existentialist Hero
Absztrakt
Django, the protagonist of Quentin Tarantino's 2012 spaghetti western, titled "Django Unchained", is far more than a simple genre hero. He is an existentialist hero, who uses autology, as well as his two consciousnesses to achieve his goals and symbolically blow up the whole peculiar institution, thus imitating an allegorical version of the historical Civil War.
