The world can be perceived in so many different ways, since there are as many point of views as there are people. Everyone’s own culture, language, experiences shape the way they view the world. To make the world of international relations more uniform, multiple theories are in help of scholars to analyze different diplomatic events. My thesis explains the two very different theories, realist theory and constructivist theory, through practical examples analyzing the Cuban Missile Crisis.
