Absztrakt

The work of this dissertation will make a significant and unique contribution to the research on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in grassroots sports; a subject which has received little attention from academic researchers. A well designed qualitative case study design allows for the collection of data related to the community dynamics, values and lived experiences that are a key element of CSR at Hajdú-Sámson TTISE. The thematic analysis was conducted with a high degree of rigour and is directly connected to CSR theory, stakeholder theory and Sport Management theory. The use of the PEST and SWOT frameworks adds additional strategic relevance to the findings of this dissertation. The proposed conceptual model of "CSR as Community Citizenship" is thought provoking and practical. In summary, the dissertation is coherent, theoretically grounded and has meaningful implications for regional sport organisations, policy makers and academics.
