The 20th century's end, a new era of technology started, the technology that became one of our age peculiarity, The Internet Age. It is very hard indeed to find a person who doesn't heard about it. It is even hard not hear about it daily in the TV, advertisements, schools, libraries, and even restaurants. It changed a lot of people's own lives, even in the kind of dependence; kind of problem witch is spreading to be a social problem, as they are suffering from Drugs or Alcohol dependence. But let's leave these problems to psychologists; we are talking about the technical part of the internet.

In this work, I will show the main structures and services of the internet, as well the basics of Web Application for those programmers, who are considering Delphi to be a professional tool for the Wide World Web development.

I will start with a brief history of the Internet, and then I will continue with an explanation of the principles of the Internet, network models, and services such the Wide World Web, then I will expand it with the main basics of Delphi web application programming, aided with example for each topic.
