dc.description.abstractPCOS is a disorder affecting up to 10% of women in reproductive age. Symptoms range from unwanted hair growth to infertility, and as the exact cause is unknown the treatment offered to these women are often only aimed at alleviating the symptoms. This thesis reviews and compares the effectiveness of the most common treatment options which includes lifestyle changes, pharmacotherapy, surgical treatment and lastly supplementation with Inositol.hu_HU
