Pharmacological treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia
Absztrakt
Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) is the major clinical manifestation of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) which is one of the most common disorders that affects the aging male population. Current pharmacological treatment of BPH includes α1-adrenergic receptor blockers, 5α-reductase inhibitors or combination therapy. New drugs are now being investigated for their potential use for the management of BPH.
