Extrapolated Drawbacks of Technology in Science Fiction Introduced Through the Works of Mark Twain and Kurt Vonnegut

Abstract

Technological development tends to divide a society into two opposing halves. One half of the population encourages and praises scientific evolution by claiming that it is good for humanity and leads to progress, while the other half is afraid of changes, believing that technology and mechanization threatens life and does not necessarily lead to improvement.
