This thesis focuses on Gloria Steinem's contribution to modern feminism through the blending of journalism and activism, including her personal narratives. It examines her advocacy for abortion rights and workplace harassment in her Playboy Bunny exposé, which brought attention to the sexual harassment in the workplace and later became one of the landmark works of feminist journalism, also how her cross-cultural activism experience, as in the case with India, exemplifies her idea of a global feminist solidarity. Her efforts to fight workplace inequality through organizations like the Women's Action Alliance have also been analyzed.
