Absztrakt
Polypharmacy (commonly defined as taking 5 or more drugs concurrently), is a risk factor threatening the health of the elderly. As well as, self-medication practices among the elderly can negatively affect elderly people. The potential drug-drug interactions between chronic and self-prescribed drugs are one of the risks that can affect their health and wellbeing. This thesis discusses this topic through a cross-sectional study to raise awareness among drug prescribers and the public.
