dc.description.abstractThis study investigates global experiences with vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC), caused by Candida albicans. Through a web-based questionnaire, widespread awareness of VVC was observed, with common symptoms including itching, burning, and abnormal discharge. Treatment approaches varied, influenced by factors such as healthcare advice, personal experiences, age, education, and treatment goals. The findings underscore the need for tailored treatment approaches and preventive measures to mitigate recurrent VVC infections. This study offers valuable insights into the management of VVC among women worldwide.
