dc.description.abstractThe thesis highlights the representation of male madness in media concentrationg on two major films The Shining and Memento.The first part of the thesis focuses on The Shining,especially on the depiction of progressive madness in the protagonist. Then, the focus will shift on Memento in which not just the protagonist’s disorder will be elaborated on but the collapse of the narrative’s linearity as well. After, there will be a short comparison between the two films and its common features.hu_HU
