Translation as a Method to Develop Language Awareness

Abstract

The main aim of my thesis is to study whether translation is still a legitimate and useful tool in language learning or not, with a special focus on translation as a valuable technique for developing language awareness. In order to be able to give a comprehensive response to this problem, I will examine translation from different aspects.
