This thesis is a review of a collection of articles dated 2006 onwards. Lasers are advancement in technology that have only just been introduced to the medical field. The articles delve into the use of lasers in Restorative dentistry, focusing on the practical uses and whether or not the use is beneficial to the dentist and/or patient. The disadvantages and danger of lasers are also explained. From the review, it is found that more research is needed before the introduction of more lasers in the clinical practice.
