| dc.description.abstract | Biological therapy has emerged as an important adjunct in dentoalveolar surgery due to its ability to enhance tissue regeneration and improve healing outcomes. This thesis examines the application of various biological agents, including platelet concentrates, growth factors, and biomaterials, in the management of dentoalveolar surgical procedures. A comprehensive review of current literature was conducted to evaluate their mechanisms of action, clinical effectiveness, and indications for use. Particular attention was given to bone regeneration, soft tissue healing, and the reduction of postoperative complications. The analysis highlights both the advantages and limitations of these therapies, as well as considerations for their integration into routine clinical practice. The findings suggest that biological approaches can significantly promote regenerative processes and contribute to more predictable surgical outcomes when appropriately selected and applied. Consequently, biological therapy represents a promising and evolving component of contemporary dentoalveolar surgery. | |
