The aim of my thesis is to illustrate and analyse how deviant attitudes of the young generation was portrayed in 1950s and 1960s British Cinema. According to the common notion, deviance includes action and behaviour that violates social norms, that is rules and expectations shared by members of society. In the examined period certain norms that were once intact in British society came under attack.
